WHAT IT DOES
The number picks the date.
RNGDLE generates a value from 000000 to 999999. That value selects a calendar day, then selects one year from the historical events available for that day.
The event text is fetched from Wikimedia's On This Day feed. RNGDLE does not write or rewrite the event.
